Xiaohong Huang obtained her PhD in Finance from Erasmus University in 2010, and in the same year she joined the University of Twente as an assistant professor of Finance. Her research interest expands from pension contract design and pension fund investment to emerging market corporate finance, and Fintech. Her current research focuses on the interplay between sustainability and digital finance. She serves on the Editorial Board of Journal of Alternative Finance. She has been engaged in various course design and teaching in undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs in finance and risk management.
