Sabrina Giordano is Associate Professor of Statistics at the University of Calabria. She holds a PhD in Methodological Statistics. She teaches Statistics and Data Science in Italian and English, and has held visiting and research positions at universities in the UK, Germany, and the USA. She has presented at international conferences, published in peer-reviewed high level journals, and serves as Associate Editor for Biometrical Journal, Statistical Methods & Applications, and Statistica. She is Research Unit Coordinator for the PRIN2022 project SMILE and project ANTHEM, Director of the Post-Graduate Master in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, funded by Italian Ministry of Research. She is a member of the COST Fin-AI action. Her research mainly focuses on statistical models for ordinal data.
