Marcus Ebner is a quantitative fund manager at Quoniam Asset Management with focus on Multi Asset- and Liquid Alternative strategies. He built the Multi-Asset team (six people) which is currently running approx. 3.0 bln. € in active strategies. The strategies are researched, as well as managed by the team and range from total return- to market neutral strategies. Beside this, he is experienced in designing new investment concepts as the development of Quoniam Multi Asset strategies is done under his lead. The peculiarity of the latest launched strategy is that it is based purely on unstructured data, more precisely on news articles data. Before joining Quoniam, he graduated in Economics (diploma) and Financial Econometrics (doctorate) whilst working part-time as Investment Process Consultant for equities at DEKA Investment.
