Ingrid Mauerer 

About

Ingrid Mauerer is a Distinguished Researcher at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Málaga. Prior to this, she was Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Munich (LMU) and a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Barcelona. She has also been a visiting researcher at several international institutions, including Harvard University and the University of Naples Federico II. She received her PhD in Political Science and Statistics from LMU Munich. Her research focuses on statistical modeling of political behavior and preference formation, categorical data analysis, and discrete choice models. Her work has been published in leading international journals such as Political Analysis, European Economic Review, and Sociological Methods & Research. She is the Principal Investigator of an EMERGIA Scholarship under the Excellence Program of the Andalusian Regional Government. She has been awarded competitive grants, including from the German Academic Scholarship Foundation, and has received the Political Analysis Editors’ Choice Article Award.
