Alessandra is an Associate Professor of Financial Intermediation at the Department of Economics, University of Insubria. She has extensive teaching experience in financial markets and banking at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Her main research interests include FinTech, the financial structure of financial and non-financial firms, and the ESG and sustainability profiles of financial markets, with a particular focus on the corporate governance of financial intermediaries.

She has published her work in national and international outlets and has been actively involved in several research projects funded by the European Union, including FINTECH H2020, PERISCOPE, and COST FinAI.
