General Description
The Babeș-Bolyai University (BBU) is the largest university in Romania, with a total of 55,000 staff and students, 5,000 PhD students in 31 PhD programs, membership in the EUTOPIA Alliance, and GUILD. It also builds the national strategy in Quantum Computing. The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) is home of the Department of Statistics-Forecasts-Mathematics, which has participated in more than 55 international and national research projects.
Research: The focus of FEBA is on the study of Digital Finance, Fintech, Sustainability in Finance, Data Analysis for Finance, Data Mining in the financial domain, and Cybersecurity and Financial Criminality among other topics.
Training: Data methods applied in Finance, Data Analysis for Finance, Green Finance, Communication & Entrepreneurship in Fintech, IPR, and business law will be taught to doctoral students.
Industry cooperation: FEBA collaborates closely with the National Bank on research and training projects with the public and private sectors.
